The All Progressives Congress (APC) chairman in Oyo State, Ajiboye Omodewu, is dead.
According to TheCable, Omodewu died in the United States. The late politician was said to have left Nigeria in November 2023, to treat an undisclosed ailment.
The publication said Olawale Sadare, Oyo APC publicity secretary, confirmed the news of Omodewu’s death.
The deceased was elected chairman of Oyo APC in 2021. He was the commissioner of lands, housing, survey and urban development in the state under the administration of Abiola Ajimobi.
