Bobrisky transferred to FCID in Lagos after arrest

Nigerian crossdresser,  Idris Okuneye popularly known as  Bobrisky, has been transferred to the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex, Alagbon, Lagos.

According to Channels Television, a police source confirmed that “Bobrisky ” spent Monday night in a cell at the police facility.

The publication added that the source revealed that Bobrisky is in FCID for safekeeping, following his arrest by officials of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) while attempting to exit the country through the Seme border.

Adding that “He is here, for now, further directives were being awaited regarding his case”

The source disclosed that “Bobrisky was brought to the FCID, Alagbon, around 10 p.m. on Monday. Immigration arrested him at Seme Boarder and brought him for safekeeping.

Also Confirming Okuneye’s detention, the spokesperson for the FCID, Annex Lagos, Aminat Mayegun told our correspondent briefly  on phone that” Yes, He is with us and we are to get a remand to keep him in custody today.”

A statement on Monday evening signed by the spokesperson for the Nigeria immigration service, Kenneth Udo,  described Okuneye as a person of interest over recent issues of public concern.

“In keeping with its commitment to securing the borders, Nigeria Immigration Service intercepted Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, otherwise known as Bobrisky at the Seme Border over an attempt to exit the country.

The statement further explained that “He is undergoing interrogation and will be handed over to the appropriate authorities for further action.
