This year, the festival received an overwhelming 1,254 film submissions from 65 countries across 18 genres, reflecting a global tapestry of storytelling and creativity. From this impressive selection, 65 nominees have been chosen to showcase the best in contemporary filmmaking.

Under the visionary guidance of Festival Director Temitope Duker, the festival’s theme “BRIDGING CULTURES THROUGH CINEMAS” embodies a commitment to showcasing diverse narratives that transcend geographic boundaries and celebrate the rich tapestry of global cinema.
