Davido Says Flavour Makes More Money in Nigeria Than Many Artistes Touring America
Afrobeats superstar Davido has highlighted Flavour’s success in Nigeria while encouraging artistes to focus on their own paths rather than simply following trends.
Speaking about the Nigerian music industry, Davido said artistes do not always have to leave the country or follow what everyone else is doing to achieve financial success.
According to him, Flavour has remained in Nigeria and is making more money than many artistes who are currently touring the United States.
“You don’t always have to follow what everybody else is doing. Flavour is in Nigeria making more money than a lot of artistes that are touring in America,” Davido said.
His comment has sparked conversations about the different ways Nigerian artistes can build successful careers, with touring abroad being just one of several possible routes to financial success.
