Doctor orders Gov Adeleke to take bed rest following voice lost after praise, worship sessions

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has lost his voice after participating in praise and worship and a vigil following his victory in the just-concluded governorship election.

This was made.known on Tuesday by Adeleke’s special adviser, Olawale Rasheed, while taking questions on behalf of the governor on Arise Television’s Morning Show.

Rasheed said Adeleke had been told by his doctor to observe bed rest but would return to speak to the people himself.

“For the past two days, we have been having praise, worship and vigil to thank God for His blessing and grace on the governor and the state.

“And what we now have is that Governor Ademola Adeleke lost his voice, and the doctor also advised that he should have a bed rest. So, he will definitely come back. He will come and speak himself.”

Recall that our correspondent reported that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on Sunday declared Adeleke of the Accord Party winner of the Osun State governorship election.
