Kristen Dawodu, Don Jazzy, others make list of 2023 most influential Nigerians

As 2023 comes to a close and Nigerians begin to review the events of the year, lists of blogs, podcasts and media services that feed the information frenzy of the year are beginning to emerge.
One of the lists presently circulating online enumerates social media pages that held young Nigerians spellbound with controversial and insightful content.
On the list is the Wahalanetwork blog, founded by Oluwagbenga Oluwafemi Dawodu, popularly known as Kristen Dawodu.
The blog has been active for almost four years and is dedicated to entertainment and celebrity news.

Kristen Dawodu, the face behind the blog, who is based in the United States, had made a name for himself as a business-savvy individual who owned a music record label and was renowned as a philanthropist who used his social media clout to help people in need.
As a showbiz entrepreneur, the 28-year-old Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State indigene, started as an MC and music promoter and grew over the years to become a serial entrepreneur.

Kristen Dawodu, born in Lagos on May 31, 1995, had a modest childhood, attending King Emmanuel Primary School in Ore, Ondo State, and Hallmark Secondary School in the Sunshine State, before obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Tai Solarin University in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
Other notable names on the list are Instagram bloggers like Gistlover and Instablognaija, broadcaster-turned-Instagram blogger, Daddy Freeze, and award-winning social media interviewer, Chude Jideonwo.

A new podcast that debuted in the year, Bahd and Boujee, hosted by Tolani Baj of BBNaija and Moet Abebe, OAP and actress, and the Honest Bunch Podcast by Nedu of Wazobia are also on the list of people and media that influence young Nigerians in 2023.
