How Comedian Forever Wants to Tackle Marital Woes
Akuidolo Orevaoghene, better known as FOREVER, is a name that’s quickly becoming synonymous with laughter in Nigeria’s comedy scene.
The Delta State-born comedian, who traded the world of mechanical engineering for the spotlight, is set to launch a new comedy series that promises to both entertain and educate.
FOREVER, a graduate of the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu, has carved a niche for himself in the comedy industry with his unique brand of humor.
His latest project, “The Marriage Therapist,” is a testament to his creative ingenuity and keen observation of societal issues.
Inspired by the plethora of marital challenges often portrayed humorously online, FOREVER seeks to address these issues with a comedic twist. “I realized that many of these marital problems weren’t as trivial as they seemed online. I wanted to use comedy as a tool to offer some perspective and, hopefully, a few laughs along the way”, he explained.
To bring his vision to life, FOREVER has assembled a cast that includes fellow comedians Young Chief, Kaycee, Phage, and 16 ONIRU, as well as actors. The series is set to premiere on August 14, 2024, and will run for 16 weeks with new episodes released every Wednesday across various social media platforms.
Fresh from a successful North American tour with Basketmouth, FOREVER is riding high on the wave of his comedic success. The “Cancel Culture” tour took the duo to nine Canadian cities, captivating audiences with their hilarious antics.
