HRM Simon Odhomo showers praises on Governor Oborevwori over landmark projects in Isoko land

His Royal Majesty,, HRM Simon Wajutome Odhomo, Igbogidi I, the Odio-Ologbo of Irri Kingdom, has commended the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for what he described as a remarkable demonstration of purposeful leadership and equitable development through the execution of strategic infrastructure projects across Isoko Land.
HRM Simon Odhomo gave the commendation following the Governor’s inspection of major projects in the area, describing the visit as another testament to the administration’s commitment to delivering projects that directly improve the lives of the people.
During the inspection, Governor Oborevwori visited the Ozoro Modern Market, where he expressed satisfaction with the quality and completion of the project, declaring it ready for commissioning. The modern market is expected to stimulate commerce, create employment opportunities, and provide a conducive environment for businesses in the area.
The Governor also inspected the College of Health Technology, Ovrode, where he assessed the near-completed institution. While expressing satisfaction with the pace and quality of work, he directed contractors to address a few minor issues before commissioning. He further announced that the adjoining access road would be commissioned alongside the institution to ensure seamless access to the facility.
Reacting to the inspection, HRM Simon Wajutome Odhomo said the projects represent a new era of development for Isoko Land and reflect the administration’s resolve to ensure that every part of Delta State benefits from quality infrastructure.

These projects will have lasting economic, educational, and social benefits for our people. We appreciate the attention given to Isoko communities and look forward to the successful commissioning of these landmark projects.”
HRM Simon Odhomo added that the Governor’s regular inspection of projects before commissioning demonstrates a commitment to quality, accountability, and the delivery of infrastructure that will positively impact the lives of Deltans.
Governor Oborevwori’s inspection tour highlighted his hands-on approach to governance and his resolve to ensure that every project delivered under the MORE Agenda meets the highest standards before being commissioned for public use.
