I’m still body‑shamed even after losing over 80KG – Eniola Badmus

Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has once again opened up about her intense five‑year weight‑loss journey, revealing that she dropped from 170kg to 83kg , a transformation she describes as one of the hardest battles of her life.
Badmus said the journey took discipline, sacrifice, pain, consistency, tears, setbacks, and a daily commitment to choosing her health. But despite the remarkable achievement, she expressed heartbreak that the same people who mocked her when she was plus‑sized are now attacking her for losing weight.
According to her, the body‑shaming never stopped but only changed direction.
She wrote that losing almost 90kg naturally comes with changes in the skin, and she is doing her best with collagen, self‑care, and patience. Yet, every time she posts, trolls find something new to criticise.
She reminded critics that she is human and that their words hurt, even if she chooses not to respond.
She urged people, especially women to stop tearing others down, and noted that much of the bullying comes from fellow women who preach “women supporting women” but fail to practice it.
She emphasised that nobody deserves to be bullied for being plus‑size or for losing weight and ended her message proudly, declaring that she remains Eniola Badmus a household name.
