‘I waited for 8 years’ – Ooni of Ife’s queen, Tobi Phillips recounts how she eventually won his heart

Tobi Phillips, one of the Queens that the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi recently got married to has recounted how she waited for 8 years before eventually getting to become his Queen.

Sharing some beautiful photos of herself and the Royal father to make the new month, Tobi Phillips disclosed that it has been quite a ride but God has been faithful.

Recall that Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi took delivery of his new wife on Sunday, October 9th.

The monarch’s new wife was seen in traditional white attire as she received blessings from her family.

Though the Ooni wasn’t in sight, the King sent his guards, chief, and royal staff.

In 2018, the news made rounds that the Ooni was set to marry Tobi following his divorce from Olori Wuraola Zainab Otiti.

According to sources close to Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the King was in a very serious relationship with Tobi Phillips, who he had started dating following his separation.
