Peter Obi unveils 62-page campaign manifesto for 2023 presidential election
Ahead of the eagerly anticipated 2023 presidential election in February, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi, has released his long-awaited 62-page campaign manifesto.
The manifesto titled, “Our Pact with Nigerians: Creating a New Nigeria“, unveiled Obi’s proposed plans to lead Nigeria if elected as president.
The secretariat of the Labour Party in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, confirmed this weekend.
Page 18 of the document itemized Peter Obi’s economic plan founded on a shift from consumption to production by running a production-focussed economy that is driven by an agrarian revolution and export-oriented industrialization
TMY Newspapers reports that Peter Obi, who was a former governor of Anambra State was today one of the dignitaries who graced the 2022 edition of the Experience, a christian praise and worship concert organised by the House on the Rock.
Pastor Paul Adefarasin, the senior pastor of House on the Rock was seen alongside Peter Obi as sonorous worship sounds were sung by top gospel artists like Nathaniel Bassey, Travis Greene, Mercy Chinwo, Chandler Moore, Eben, Dunsin Oyekan and Chioma Jesus.
Comedians like Akpororo and Yemi Black were also on stage to lighten up the mood for the multitude of worshipers who thronged the Tafawa Balewa Square venue of the Experience 2022.
TMY Newspapers reports that comedian Akpororo tasked Peter Obi to live up to expectations should he win the presidential election in 2023.
