Victor Boniface is now the highest paid Nigerian footballer after he agreed a transfer to top Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr that will dole out to him 15 Million Euros yearly
With this, he has dethroned slose friend and fellow Super Eagles striker,Victor Osimhen, who is on 12 Million Euros a year, on the big-money chart.
His club Bayer Leverkuesen are smiling all the way to the bank as they will receive more than 60 Million Euros for this transfer.
This is thrice what they paid Belgian club Union St.Gilloise in the summer of 2023 for the striker.
Victor Boniface will also play alongside his ‘GOAT’ Cristiano Ronaldo and one-time CAF Player of the Year Sadio Mane at Al Nassr.
Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg reported the player’s sensational transfer to Saudi Arabian has been completed after the financials were agreed with both player and club.
