Two arrested for counterfeiting World Cup national team shirts

Two persons have been arrested for counterfeiting football World Cup national team shirts.
The investigation began after several reports pointed to the use of a number of storage rooms located in the Arganzuela district to store merchandise that was later intended for sale.
The steps taken by investigators, together with surveillance and monitoring work, made it possible to confirm a constant movement of people entering the storage facilities and carrying numerous bags and backpacks loaded with merchandise.
Once the spaces being used had been identified, investigators coordinated a police operation that culminated in the inspection of thirteen storage rooms linked to the activity under investigation.
The operation remains open in order to identify and locate the tenants of several of the inspected storage rooms and determine their possible involvement in the events.
