Boboye set to replace Dogo as Wikki Tourist coach

Coach Kennedy Boboye is in the wings to replace Kabiru Dogo as head coach of Nigeria Premier Football League club, Wikki Tourists.

 

Dogo quit his position on Tuesday following the poor start of the Bauchi Elephants in the new abridged NPFL league.

 

He attributed interference and lack of support from the club’s management as reasons for his action to resign.

 

Boboye, it was gathered by TMY Newspapers could be appointed the new head coach of Wikki Tourists in the next couple of days.

 

The former international  vacated his plum position at Awka United last season after guiding the Promise Keepers to their first league title in the 2020/21 campaign.

 

Wikki Tourists are rock bottom in Group B of the NPFL table after nicking a solitary one point from their opening four matches, a situation that has left their fans in sad mood and apprehensive of the dangers that in front of them.
