Nigerian media personality Toolz has shared honest advice from 10 years of being married. She says people should not ignore strong dislike from a partner’s parents before tying the knot.
She said; “Anybody who’s been married for like longer than 10years, if we’re gonna be very honest it’s not easy and I think we need to talk about that if you see people that’ve been married for 10 years above and they kinda look happy that’s a big thing because they have worked through different things . Definitely God we actually prayed a lot and also have the best in-laws, i will say this if you’re not married and you meet your potential father in law and mother in law and they don’t really really like you don’t even try it”
She explained that staying married long term takes real work. Couples face tough times and must keep pushing through them.
“If you are not married and your potential father-in-law and mother-in-law really don’t like you, don’t even try it.
Toolz praised her own in-laws for being supportive. She said they have helped her marriage in positive ways.
