Stay away from widows, they are married to spirits — Pastor Julius Ekweozor warns men

Pastor Julius Ekweozor has stirred reactions after warning men against getting involved with widows, claiming that every widow is spiritually married after the de@th of her husband.

Speaking during a sermon, the cleric advised men to stay away from widows, regardless of how kind or attractive they may appear.

According to him, “No matter how nice a widow is, don’t sleep with her. There is no single widow on the earth. Every widow is married. When you take advantage of her, her husband will come after you. Every widow is married to a spirit.”

He claimed that, “The moment the husband of that widow drops de@d, the spirit takes over the marriage.” He further stated that if a man becomes involved with a widow because he is helping her financially or supporting her children, “as soon as he sleeps with her, that spirit will attack.”

Ekweozor also spoke about widows who remarry, saying, “When a man d+es and the widow is young, and she wants to remarry, there are laws they keep, there are certain rituals they do. If that ritual is not done, what happened to the other man will happen to him. The spirit will k+ll him.”

Warning men against such relationships, he said, “So if a widow is liking you, whether young or old, be running. Go and check in your village. All the young men that widows harbored are still useless today.”

The pastor further claimed that men who become involved with widows risk losing their blessings, saying, “Whatever thing that gives that man boost, the spirit of that widow will take it.”

Emphasising his belief, he stated, “Every time a man checks out, a spirit takes over the wife. There is no single widow, even in church, on the streets, in the tradition, anywhere. Every widow is married to a spirit.”

He added that the rituals performed before a widow remarries are meant “to separate her from the spirit that is married to her.”
