“Your lawsuit cannot scare me away” — Judy Austin’s ex-husband fires back after ₦1bn defamation suit

Judy Austin’s ex-husband, Mr Obasi, has reacted after she reportedly filed a ₦1 billion defamation lawsuit against him.

In a video, Obasi said the lawsuit would not stop him from speaking about his experiences, insisting that he was prepared to face whatever consequences came with it.

“She has seen the Central Bank; I will never keep quiet. Let them send me to prison or let me get my children back,” he said.

He also questioned the basis of the lawsuit, asking, “So when did telling the truth become defamation?”

Obasi maintained that the legal action would not intimidate him and said he would continue speaking about what he claims he went through in his previous marriage.
