2025 AFCON: Super Eagles draw Tunisia, Uganda and Tanzania

Sper Eagles have been drawn in group C of the 2025 AFCON scheduled for Morocco with Tunisia, Uganda and Tanzania in what appears a soft group with only Tunisia as a former champion of the competition.
New coach, Eric Chelle has a score to settle with Tunisia who eliminated the Super Eagles in the round of 16 after a superb group stage performance under Augustine Eguavoen at the 2021 AFCON held in Cameroon in 2022.
The draw which held at the iconic Mohammed V National Theatre in Rabat saw host Morocco drawn against Mali, former champions Zambia and Comoros in group A while biggest AFCON winners, Egypt are to play South Africa, Angola and Zimbabwe in group B.
The Teranga Lions of Senegal who top group D will battle DR Congo, Gernot Rohr's Benin Republic and Botswana,
Algeria, Burkina Faso, Equatorial Guinea and Sudan are in group E while defending champions, Cote d'Ivoire have Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, Gabon and Mozambique to contend with in group F.
