Flamingos are among the top seeds in today’s draw for the 2025 U17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco.
The Flamingos, as the Nigerian team are called,who crashed out of last year’s World Cup in the quarterfinal, have been placed in Pot 1 alongside hosts Morocco, Spain, Japan, North Korea and USA.
Africa will be represented by five countries and the tournament has now been expanded to feature 24 teams.
The draw ceremony will be staged in Rabat, Morocco’s administrative capital.
