DJ Chicken’s Lawyer Begs Seyi Tinubu for Forgiveness After Influencer’s Arrest
The lawyer representing controversial entertainer DJ Chicken has appealed to President Bola Tinubu’s son, Seyi Tinubu, to forgive his client following his arrest over comments allegedly made about the President’s son.
In a video shared online, the lawyer claimed DJ Chicken was arrested in Ikeja and is currently in the custody of security authorities.
“DJ Chicken is now with the authorities. He was arrested at Ikeja. He’s now at Ikeja police headquarters, but I’m very sure it is the DSS,” he said.
According to him, the arrest is connected to “the statement he made some days ago about the son of the President, Seyi Tinubu.”
The lawyer made an emotional plea to fans and influential individuals to help secure DJ Chicken’s release.
“Please, fans and well-wishers, people that like Chicken, people that are close to the presidency, please help us to beg. We earnestly beg the President, the son of the President, please forgive Chicken.”
He also suggested that DJ Chicken has m+ntal health challenges, saying, “He’s not okay like that. We are just managing him. In fact, Chicken is my personal project. I just picked interest in him.”
Admitting his client had made mistakes, the lawyer added, “He has fucked up, but please, we are begging. Everybody that I know that is close to Seyi Tinubu, I will start calling them now just for us to beg. They should please forgive him. We will do everything.”
Neither the police nor the Department of State Services (DSS) has officially confirmed the lawyer’s claims as of the time of filing this report.
