Al-Hilal refuse to give up on Osimhen despite 30m euro salary rejection

Despite rejecting a reported €30m salary, Al-Hilal are ready to try again for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, with Juventus waiting in the wings.
The €75m release clause is valid only for clubs outside of Italy, so Juve would need to negotiate directly with the Partenopei, a very tricky proposition.
They are helped by so far nobody being willing to pay the full sum other than Al-Hilal, but Osimhen turned down the move to the Saudi Pro League, even with a €30m per season salary on the table.
According to Turkish transfer pundit Yagiz Sabuncoglu, the club is undeterred and will try again to convince the centre-forward to accept this transfer.
It seems unlikely that any figure could be enough to change his mind at this stage, but Al-Hilal believe they could still have an opportunity now there isn’t the time pressure to get a deal done in time for the Club World Cup.
Meanwhile, Galatasaray are pushing to make the move permanent after a successful loan spell, while Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea are looking at different targets.
