Arsenal set to book medical for Calafiori

Arsenal is nearing a definitive deal to sign Riccardo Calafiori.

According to Italian reports, the only minor elements have to be worked out between Bologna and the Premier League club, which Fabrizio Romano claims will try to schedule a physical and official contract signing this week.

Arsenal will pay £42 million for the defender, and TMW identifies Jakub Kiwior as a possible contender to leave north London as a result of the agreement.

Bologna is interested in Kiwior, but the Polish international is thought to be against the transfer, with Inter Milan and Napoli more likely destinations.

Meanwhile, according to Al-Riyadiyah, Al Ahli are interested in Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus and Tottenham striker Richarlison.

The Pro League club is looking for a replacement for Allan Saint-Maximin, who just joined Fenerbahce.

It remains to be seen whether Jesus is available from Arsenal, although Standard Sport claimed earlier this summer that Richarlison may leave Tottenham for the appropriate price.
