Director-General of the Department of State Services, Yusuf Bichi, has resigned his appointment.
His resignation comes days after that of Ahmed Abubakar, the Director General of the Nigeria Intelligence Agency (NIA), who also resigned by submitting his letter to President Bola Tinubu during a meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Saturday.
Meanwhile, President Tinubu has approved the appointment of Adeola Oluwatosin Ajayi as the new DSS DG.
Bichi was appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari on September 14, 2018, to replace Matthew Seiyefa, who had served in an acting capacity.
