Nigeria's Home Eagles have been drawn in Group D of the 2024 CHAN, which has champions Senegal, Sudan and Congo Brazzaville.
Group D is the only pot that has four countries, while the three other groups have five teams.
Nigeria return to the tournament after being absent for six years.
The Group of Death will be Group A, which has co-hosts Kenya, two-time champions Morocco, Angola, DR Congo and Zambia.
The tournament has been postponed until August.
GROUP A: Kenya, Morocco, Angola, DR Congo, Zambia
GROUP B: Tanzania, Madagascar, Mauritania, Burkina Faso, Central African Republic
GROUP C: Uganda, Niger Republic, Guinea, Wild Card 2, Wild Card 1
GROUP D: Senegal, Congo Brazzaville, Sudan, Nigeria
