One of Nigeria's top musicians, David Adeleke, fondly known as Davido, has said that his father’s wealth made him feel broke.
Davido disclosed this during his latest interview in Paris.
Recall that Davido, on Thursday, appeared at Amiri’s Fall/Winter show at Paris Fashion Week 2025, held at Palais de Tokyo, alongside singer Omah Lay.
Speaking in an interview snippet on social media, Davido was asked who has ever made him feel broke despite his wealth.
Davido replied: “Yeah, my dad.”
His response comes months after he said in an interview that it took years for him to realize that his father is a very wealthy man.
Davido is one of Nigeria’s richest musicians.
