Family of slain officer in Jigawa receives N900,000 donation from NSCDC

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Jigawa State Command, has donated N900,000 to the family of one of its officers, SC. Bashir Adamu Jibrin who died in the line of duty.

‎State Commandant of NSCDC, CC Bala Bawa Bodinga, presented the donation to the wife of the deceased during his 100 days in office celebration held at the headquarters of the command, Dutse.

Hoodlums attacked and killed the officer after he nabbed one of them who was on the wanted list of the command at Shiwarin market, in Kiyawa local Government.

‎CC. Bawa said the donation was to support the bereaved family.

“N600,000 was contributed by his colleagues, N100,000 by Dutse local Government council chairman and N200,000 by a businessman, Alhaji Nura Maigatari Danbahago”

‎”From my side also I will be giving the family N20,000 every month until I leave the state,” CC. Bawa said.
