Fani-Kayode dismisses BBC’s allegations against TB Joshua
Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has said the allegations levelled against the late televangelist, Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, popularly known as TB Joshua, are dirty lies.
TMY Newspapers reports that BBC had exposed alleged secret lifestyles of the late gospel preahcer, accusing him of several atrocities, including rape.
In a documentary released by the BBC on Monday, about 25 eyewitnesses accused T.B Joshua of sexual assault, physical abuse, fabricated miracles, and trauma.
In a post on his official X handle, Fani-Kayode countered BBC, saying the late Joshua fought a good fight until his demise.
He wrote, “So true! You touched many lives, fought a good fight, stood till the end and established a great and enduring legacy.
“No man or institution can destroy it with dirty lies: not even the BBC!
“Continue to rest in peace brother and thanks for being such a blessing to the Church, the Christian faith, humanity and our beloved nation Nigeria.
“We are and shall always be very proud of you”.
