Data allows organizations to measure the effectiveness of a given strategy: When strategies are put into place to overcome a challenge, collecting data will allow you to determine how well your solution is performing, and whether or not your approach needs to be tweaked or changed over the long-term. John Onuorah stressed the essence and application of data in his day-to-day task and disclosed how he acquired the proficiency.

“Gigbanc taught me the importance of data-driven decision making and the need for precise targeting in marketing.
I’ve learned to be adaptable, to prioritize data-driven decision making, and to always keep the customer in mind. My day involves analyzing data, optimizing campaigns, brainstorming new strategies, and collaborating with the team to drive growth. My priorities are understanding customer behavior, identifying areas for improvement, and leveraging data to inform decisions,” he explained.

As an expert in a data-driven world,
John Onuorah disclosed that he uses a mix of Google Analytics, Mixpanel, and attribution tools like Appsflyer and segment to measure data. He is, however, already projecting into the future in which Artificial Intelligence (AI) will eventually become inevitable in data-mining and its application in marketing and strategy.

“I see performance marketing becoming even more data-driven and automated. I’m preparing by staying up-to-date with industry trends and developing my skills in marketing automation and AI,” John John Onuorah shared.
