Flying Eagles beat Cote d’Ivoire 2-0 in U-20 AFCON warm up game.


The Flying Eagles have defeated their Ivorian counterparts 2-0 in the first of two friendly games ahead of the U20 AFCON in April.
After a goalless first half, captain Daniel Bameyi edged the Flying Eagles in front through a penalty kick in the 63rd minute.
Divine Olise later increased Nigeria’s advantage in the 82nd minute.
Both teams will face off again Friday evening at the same venue in Abidjan in another test game.
