Foxconn Posts Record July Revenue as AI Boom Drives Unprecedented Growth
World's largest electronics manufacturer surpasses NT$900 billion in monthly sales for the first time, fueled by soaring demand for AI servers and cloud infrastructure.

Taiwanese electronics giant Foxconn, the world’s largest contract manufacturer and a key supplier to Apple and Nvidia, has reported its highest-ever monthly revenue for July, highlighting the powerful impact of the global artificial intelligence boom. The company recorded NT$946.5 billion (approximately US$29.3 billion) in revenue, marking the first time its monthly sales have exceeded NT$900 billion. The figure represents a 54.2% increase compared with the same month last year, driven primarily by surging demand for AI-related hardware and continued strength in its consumer electronics business.
Foxconn said its cloud and networking products division, which manufactures AI servers for leading technology companies, delivered particularly strong performance. The company credited “strong pull-in momentum for AI products” as hyperscale cloud providers and AI developers continue investing billions of dollars in expanding data center capacity. In addition to AI infrastructure, Foxconn’s smart consumer electronics division, which includes smartphone production for major global brands such as Apple, also recorded robust growth during the month, contributing to the record-breaking results.
Looking ahead, Foxconn expects the momentum to continue into the third quarter. The company said shipments of AI server racks are projected to maintain strong growth while demand for information and communication technology (ICT) products is expected to accelerate as the industry enters its traditional peak season. Although Foxconn does not provide detailed financial forecasts, it said it expects both quarter-on-quarter and year-on-year revenue growth in the current quarter, reflecting continued confidence in long-term AI investment trends.
Despite the optimistic outlook, Foxconn cautioned that global political and economic uncertainties remain important factors to watch. Geopolitical tensions, shifting trade policies, and fluctuations in the global economy could still affect supply chains and customer demand. Nevertheless, investors reacted positively to the latest results, with Foxconn’s shares rising ahead of the revenue announcement, outperforming the broader Taiwanese stock market as confidence in the AI sector remained strong.
Foxconn’s record July performance further demonstrates how artificial intelligence is reshaping the global electronics industry. Once known primarily for assembling iPhones and other consumer devices, the company has become one of the world’s leading manufacturers of AI servers and high-performance computing systems. As demand for AI infrastructure continues to surge, Foxconn is increasingly positioning itself at the center of the next wave of technological growth, benefiting from the massive investments being made by cloud providers, chipmakers, and AI companies around the world.
