Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Michael Adebayo Olayinka, better known as Ruger, is delighted to share the same stage with popular Ghanaian rap icon, Sarkodie.
During his 2024 Rapperholic Concert performance at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) on December 25, 2024, Ruger revealed that he admires Sarkodie, expressing that sharing the podium the taller had been a dream.
“Let me tell you something real quick. I grew up listening to Safkodie, and it’s been my dream to be on the same stage with him and I am happy to be on the same stage with him. You know Sarkodid is a legend,” the Nigerian told a cheering crowd.
The ‘Asiwaju’ crooner also told Ghanaians to continue to support Sarkodie u drrscroing his love and respect for the singer.
“I love Sarkodie and you all should conti uento love him,” Ruger urged.
The concert was a star-studded event which also featured Ghanaian performers which included King Promise, Efya Nokturnal, Pappy Kojo and King Paluta.
Nigerian dacehall star, Patoranking, also graced the stage for a night of music and pure artistry in display.
