The Lagos State Police Command has arrested 39 suspects and recovered 14 pistols and other weapons during recent operations across the state. The arrests were made as part of ongoing efforts to tackle criminal activities and improve security in Lagos.

The police said the operations targeted suspected criminal hideouts and individuals linked to various offences. The recovered weapons are being examined as investigators work to determine their connection to the suspects and other reported crimes.

The command said those arrested are currently undergoing investigation, while suspects found to have committed offences will be prosecuted in accordance with the law.

The latest operation is part of the Lagos police command’s broader intelligence-led approach to tackling violent crime. Authorities have urged residents to remain vigilant and provide credible information that could assist security agencies in identifying and apprehending criminal elements.
