Michael Jordan acquires one of world’s fastest cars
Michael Jordan’s passion for cars and speed is no secret, but now that he is away from the basketball court, we have less news about his latest acquisitions.
Now, thanks to the American manufacturer Hennessey, we have learned about the car that has just arrived in his garage.
It is none other than the Hennessey Venom F5 (and, from what can be seen in the photo, in its roadster version).
Suffice to say, as a letter of introduction, that we are talking about one of the fastest (and most expensive) convertibles on the planet.
Jordan’s new car hides a 6.6-litre twin-turbo V8 engine – in the purest American style – with a chilling 1,842 hp.
With such horsepower, it is capable of developing a speed that will surprise even the legendary 23 of the Chicago Bulls, a consummate collector of sports cars.
He certainly doesn’t have one that reaches 482 km/h, as it appears on the technical data sheet of his latest purchase.
Jordan already has some experience in ultra-fast cars: he once owned a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport that exceeded 400 km/h.
