Musa, Oshoala celebrate Omeruo’s 60th Eagles cap
Kenneth Omeruo has been joined in honouring his 60th appearance for the Super Eagles by Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa, Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala, Salernitana defender and William Troost-Ekong.
The Nigerian defender was overjoyed as he celebrated his 60th appearance when the Super Eagles of Nigeria went to the Stadium Nacional 24 de Setembro to exact revenge for their defeat to Guinea-Bissau at home.
During the game, the 29-year-old gave the Super Eagles’ defence a little more sweetness by partnering Semi Ajayi in the middle of the defence with Bright Osayi-Samuel and Zaidu Sanusi on the wings.
He wrote,“Privileged to have played my 60th cap for the Super Eagles. All glory to God for the victory.”
Ahmed Musa, a Sivasspor forward, commented on his post by writing, “Congrats Mate, more to come amen”
Troost-Ekong, the vice-captain of the Super Eagles, also praised him and said, “Congrats Uncle K”
Oshoala also responded to the post by saying, “You sabi (know) this thing, eh. My central”
