Ndume says Nigerians losing patience with President Tinubu

Borno Senator, Ali Ndume has voices out concerns about President Bola Tinubu’s disconnection from actual events and attributes the challenge to the president’s close aides who, by polishing his image, prevent him from seeing the reality.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, Ndumer lamented the state of governance under the All Progressives Congress (APC), stating that a lot of Nigerians are frustrated by the current pace of development.
“Things are not going the way they should, and even Mr. President has admitted that,” Ndume said during the live interview.
“But what we keep hearing is that Nigerians should be patient. My question is—how long can people continue to endure?”
Ndume pointed accusing fingers at some of the president’s advisers of telling him only what he wants to hear, rather than providing honest assessments of the country’s problems.
“Those around him only feed him with what he wants to hear, not what is actually happening. Among his advisers, the only one I commend is Sunday Dare. He speaks the truth and understands Tinubu well because they’ve been together for years,” Ndume stated.
He did not mince words about the influence of unelected individuals who, he claims, have taken control of the administration’s direction.
Despite his criticisms, Ndume said he has no personal grudge against the President.
“I don’t have any problem with the President. He is my president. But if he does something that’s not right, I will point it out. That’s my responsibility,” he concluded.
