It has emerged that it will be a straight slug out between Raphael Onyedika and Alex Iwobi for who will play alongside Wilfred Ndidi in the Super Eagles midfield today.
As expected, Ndidi will be the main man in the midfield against Rwanda.
The second midfielder will link up the midfield to the attack.
The choice of who will play alongside the Leicester City star is what coach Eric Chelle has been working on.
Iwobi played a grafting role at the 2023 AFCON in Cote d’Ivoire, while Onyedika watched from the bench.
