Police Raid Suspected Black Spots in Yola, Arrest 29

Police operatives in Adamawa State have arrested 29 suspects during raids on suspected criminal “black spots” in Yola, the state capital. The operation was conducted as part of efforts to tackle criminal activities and improve security in the city.
The suspects were apprehended during coordinated operations at locations identified by the police as hotspots for criminal activities. The command said the raids were aimed at disrupting activities capable of threatening public safety and security in the metropolis.
The police are expected to screen and investigate those arrested to establish their individual involvement in any offences. The operation forms part of ongoing efforts by the Adamawa State Police Command to identify criminal elements and prevent their activities from taking root in communities.
Authorities have continued to urge residents to provide useful information to security agencies to help identify suspicious activities and persons. The latest arrests come as police intensify operations around Yola and other parts of Adamawa State.
