Politicians’ children should be mandated to school in Nigeria – Akah Nnani

Nigerian actor and media personality Akah Nnani has ignited discussions about governance and education after proposing a law requiring the children of politicians to attend schools in Nigeria.
During a recent appearance on ‘The Morayo Show’, Nnani argued that public office holders would be more dedicated to improving the country’s education system if their own families depended on it.
According to the actor, many elected officials and government appointees send their children to private or foreign schools. Meanwhile, public schools in Nigeria continue to face issues such as poor infrastructure, overcrowded classrooms, teacher shortages, and limited learning resources.
Nnani proposed that mandating politicians’ children to be educated within the country would motivate leaders to invest more earnestly in enhancing the quality of education for every Nigerian child.
