Six arrested in Lagos for urinating on rail track
Six persons have been arrested by the Lagos State Government for open urination, on rail track in front of the Nigeria Army Shopping Complex Arena in Oshodi.
Commissioner of Environment and Water Resources in Lagos, Tokunbo Wahab, in a statement on his X handle on Saturday, said the development was a crackdown on public indecency.
He wrote: “6 defaulters were earlier today arrested for open urination on rail track in front of Nigeria Army Shopping Complex, Arena, Oshodi.”
The arrests were made as part of the Lagos State Government’s ongoing efforts to enforce a cleaner and more sanitary environment, under the #ZeroToleranceLagos and #CleanerLagos initiatives.
