Tiwa Savage laments economic hardship, says I hustle day and night to stay afloat
Top Nigerian musician, Tiwa Savage has spoken on the rising number of persons contacting her for financial support, using humour to make her point clear.
In a clip shared via her Instagram story, voice in the background was heard listing various commercial banks in Nigeria, a playful hint that those asking for money should direct their pleas to those institutions instead of her.
Though delivered jokingly, the message underscored the pressure Tiwa Savage encounters from constant financial demands.
Tiwa Savage also spokre on her own challenges, pointing out that Nigeria’s tough economy hasn’t spared her.
She noted that juggling life as a single mother means working round the clock just to stay afloat.
“Because even me sef the economy don show me shege. I am a single mother abeg, I dey hustle night and day. May God bless us all,” wrote Tiwa.
