It’ is the beginning of a new era as the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has appointed Iliya Damagum as the substantive National Chairman of the Party.
This appointment comes as the PDP holds her 102nd National Executive Council, NEC meeting on Monday.
Party faithful are hopeful that the appointment of Damagum will usher in the wind of sanity into the party and stand it in good stead to offer fierce competition to the ruling All Progressives Congress APC in the 2027 general elections.
