Tinubu arrives Nigeria after one month abroad

Exactly 35 days to his inauguration, Nigeria’s President-elect, Bola Tinubu, has returned to the country from a trip to France.

Tinubu landed in Nigeria around 4:30 pm on Monday, through the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, the country’s capital.

The president-elect had travelled out of the country after the March 18 governorship election.

The former Lagos State governor who contested the February 25 presidential election under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress is expected to be sworn-in as the country’s next president on May 29.
