Chief Ebere Nwankwo, Esq—a renowned entrepreneur, lawyer, and philanthropist, has made significant impact in various spheres of life. As chairman of Regal Group of Companies, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership and business acumen.
Chief Ebere Nwankwo’s dedication to community service and charity work has earned him numerous awards and recognition. Born in Eluama Lokpaukwu, Umuchieze, Abia State, the businessman hails from the family of Chief Isaac Nwankwo.
He attended Uru Lokpaukwu Primary School and Ahaba Imenyi Secondary School, Isiukwuato LGA, for his First School Leaving Certificate and West African School Certificate, respectively. He proceeded to Abia State University, Uturu, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, and later a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B Hons).
Chief Nwankwo has had a distinguished career in both the public and private sectors. He worked with Inland Bank (now FCMB) and Parktel International, before venturing into entrepreneurship in 2008.
As a serial entrepreneur, he founded Regal Group, which comprises Phonemart Technologies, Regal Cribz, Regal Granites, RegalBuyer Limited, and Regal Devices Limited.
Chief Nwankwo has served in various capacities in his local government and Abia State.
He was a Supervisor for Agriculture, Umunneochi Local Government Area, and Special Assistant to the state go on Media. He was also a Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media.
Nwakwo’s community service and leadership have positively impacted his community, earning him a chieftaincy title, NWACHINAEMERE 1 of URU Lokpaukwu Community.
Chief Nwankwo is passionate about charity and philanthropy through his foundation—Nwachinaemere Care and Empowerment Foundation. He has received numerous awards, including the HOPE OF THE YOUTH, ABIA HUMANITARIAN OF THE YEAR 2021, and AWARD OF EXCELLENCE.
