Nice days are better but birthdays are the best. And the 29th could not have come in memorable ways for fast-rising Nigerian On-Air Personality (OAP), Naomi Rashidat Adams, of one of the biggest media brands in Nigeria, TMY Digital Media.
Naomi Adams, who was born on October 27, 1994, in Lagos, but hails from Edo State, commemorated her day with a simple photo shoot of herself staring in the mirror, reminiscing how far she has come. She possesses vast experience in her profession, having previously worked with other media outfits in parts of the country. The media personality has been radio’s ‘golden girl’, since the six years she’s been with TMY Radio in Lagos.
Naomi Adams has compelling and rich experience on the job, as she had previously worked with Myradio 101.1 FM Owerri, Real 99.1 FM Aba, Solid 101.1 FM Enugu.
Deeply passionate about her job, she revealed that her most unforgettable moment on the job was the day a woman phoned in and confessed that she had HIV, among other issues her listeners have related with her.
“My most memorable moment was a day a woman called in and confessed she was HIV positive. At that moment, I felt so devastated, I really felt deep pity for her”, she recalled.
According to Naomi Adams, being associated with TMY Digital Media has been the most fulfilling of her career, which she said has given her more impetus to even dream of more success.
“Working with one of the biggest brands in Nigeria (TMY Digital Media) is one of my dreams come true. It has been 4 years now. Although it’s has been tasking, challenging, educating but it has also been super fun. I manage the total affairs of the company. I still look forward to becoming one of Nigeria’s biggest brand manager, influencer and a well-known entrepreneur,” Naomi Adams disclosed in an interview.
The beauty with brains comes from a polygamous family, and is the last child of seven siblings, comprising three boys and four girls from her mother.
On her academic background, Naomi Adams holds a degree in Entrepreneurship and Business Management from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).
“I had my primary Education at Asmoria Islamic Nursery & Primary School, finished my Secondary Education at P&k International Secondary School. I earlier attended Olabisi Onabajo University (OOU) for a year and went further to graduate from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) where I bagged my B.sc Degree in Entrepreneurship and Business Management”, Naomi.Adams said.
The single and searching radio presenter enumerated the qualities she seeks in a man. “Yes I’m single and searching. When the time comes for marriage, I want a God fearing person. He must be supporting, caring, attentive, loving and RICH (laughing) that part is so important,” she highlighted.
