Police Arrest 10 Suspected Human Parts Sellers in Oyo

Suspects picked up in Iseyin and Saki areas as police intensify crackdown on alleged illegal trade

The Oyo State Police Command has arrested 10 suspected sellers of human parts during operations in the Iseyin and Saki areas of the state. The arrests form part of ongoing efforts by security authorities to tackle activities linked to the alleged illegal trade in human body parts.

Police said the suspects were taken into custody following investigations into activities believed to be connected with the trade. Authorities are working to establish the individual roles of the suspects and determine the circumstances surrounding the alleged activities.

The arrests come as the command continues its security operations across Oyo State, particularly in areas where criminal activities have been reported. Investigators are expected to gather further evidence and establish whether the suspects are linked to a wider network.

The suspects remain in police custody as investigations continue. Authorities are expected to take further legal action after the investigation is concluded and the allegations against those arrested are fully established.
