Victor Iyke celebrates another Milestone
Seasoned Nigerian filmmaker, Hart Victor Ikechukwu Okeke, better known by his screen name Victor Iyke, is basking in the glow of his latest achievement.
Victor recently earned a Master’s in Art (Producing for Film & Television), a significant milestone in his illustrious career.
“I feel happy and blessed. It’s one thing to set a target for yourself and it’s another to fully achieve it. Achieving this is a huge motivation for me to achieve more,” he said, epressing his immense joy and gratitude.
Victor’s decision to further his education in filmmaking stemmed from his desire for continuous growth.
Despite winning the prestigious Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) twice, he sought to avoid complacency. “After winning the AMVCA twice, I asked myself, ‘What next? Do I keep winning this award yearly and repeating the cycle, or do I want to win bigger awards and achieve greater things?’ The dream is to reach the globe, not just Africa. I told myself the truth: if I must get bigger, then I must seek more knowledge. Comfort is the greatest enemy of progress,” he explained.
With his new degree in hand, Victor is already setting his sights on new horizons. He has relocated his production company to the UK and is engaging in discussions with several production companies and studios for potential collaborations.
