May Yul-Edochie urges court to shut down Theisen’s, others’ accounts

May Yul-Edochie has taken the legal route, filing a case at the Lagos State High Court against Yinka Omolola Theisen, Emeka Ugwuonye, and other unidentified social media users over alleged cyberbullying, defamation, and online harassment.
According to the court filing, Queen May is asking the court to order the removal of the social media accounts and posts she claims were used to target her. She is also seeking an order compelling social media platforms to release user information to assist with investigations.
In a 126-paragraph affidavit filed in support of the suit, Queen May alleged that she had been subjected to sustained online attacks over several years by the defendants and operators of multiple blogs and Facebook pages.
She alleged that the publications contained false accusations, manipulated photographs, insulting caricatures, AI-generated images, death wishes and other materials intended to ridicule her and damage her reputation.
She further alleged that despite serving legal notices on some of the defendants in 2025 demanding the removal of the publications, the alleged campaign intensified, with new social media pages allegedly created to continue the attacks.
The claimant also accused one of the defendants, whom she identified as her former lawyer, of disclosing confidential information obtained during the course of legal representation and publishing materials she described as defamatory and misleading.
