AY Poyoo signs deal with TMY Music for production, distribution and promotion of his music

 

Rising Ghanaian rapper, AY Poyoo, has signed a music record agreement with one of the thriving music record companies in Africa TMY EMPIRE MUSIC or music production, distribution and promotion with Lexfilms Production.

In what represents a big gain for AY Poyoo, whose real name is Emmanuel Yeboah and is reputed as one of the best rappers from Ghana, the CEO of TMY Music, Ajayi Solomon said the landmark music production deal was signed, sealed and delivered on November 16th 2023.

The agreement will see TMY Music handle all music production, distribution and promotional activities of AY Poyoo for an initial period of 15 months, bringing its wealth of experience to bear to the positive projection of the young and talented rapper, who is best known for his hit song titled Goat, which went viral, after its video was released on 08 June 2020.

According to terms of the agreement, which is legally binding on AY Poyoo and TMY Music, “Tree Money Yard Empire is an organization, which specializes in the management, recording, distribution and representation of musical artists; TMY Empire is familiar with the musical abilities of the artist and has the expertise, ability, industry contacts and resources to assist Artist in the furtherance of his career.

“Allotey Emmanuel, who is the Artist and TMY Music wish to enter into this agreement to provide for the production and distribution of the Recording. The effectiveness of the Agreement shall commence with its execution by all of the parties, and shall continue thereafter for a period of one (1) year and three (3) months.

TMY Newspapers recalls that AY Poyoo started out in te entertainment industry as a standup comedian, making use of comic antics in his music and video.

Born on the 5th of June, 2000 in Ghana, Emmanuel Yeboah, who started singing at a tender age and combines music with comedy, later released other popular songs, comprising Swimming Pool and Richest Rapper in Africa.

He has been singing for a while but started gaining more traction and media spotlight after releasing the official video to his ‘GOAT’, single, where he was seen in chains, screaming ‘I’m a Goat’ on an animal farm.

Although not much is known of the personal life of Ay Poyoo, whose GOAT video has thus far amassed over two million, three hundred thousand views (2.3 million) on YouTube, it was sometime reported that he once had a romantic fling with Ghanaian singer, Veda Hamenoo-Kpeda, fondly referred to as MzVee.
