The rise of rapper Aduba Ikenna Stanley, aka 2Min Ime

 

Arguably, one of the creativity-disposed genre of music is hip-hop. The core and hard nature of the music is one that burdens rappers with innovation and ingenuity, to make the message in their music appealing to their audience and followers.

 

Aduba Ikenna Stanley, popularly known as 2Min Ime, is a fast-rising rapper causing tsunami-like attention in the Nigerian music industry. The self-acclaimed Best rapper in Nigeria’ is a versatile performer with a number of rich and strongly-worded singles which have endeared him to lovers of hardcore music in the country, Africa and across the global industry. There have been argument that the distinction between hip-hop and rap is that the former is a broader culture and phenomenon, and latter is just one important part of it. This act passes for a wizard in both.

 

Not only has many taken interest in Aduba Ikenna Stanley, owing to the life in his lyrics and skill with words a rapper, he has perhaps the most fascinating history before his foray into the entertainment industry. Aduba Ikenna Stanley studied law at Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka, Anambra state. It is not everyday one finds a trained lawyer who ditches his wig and gown to pursue music, if passion had not prevailed.

 

Aduba Ikenna Stanley started his music career over a decade ago as an undergraduate. In 2012, he released his debut single, “Disturbance”.

It was the start of a huge disruption in the industry. Three years later on May 5, 2015, he dropped another single, “Bamboo”, featuring ‘Ymc’ and premium mouth organist, (Thiotee).

 

The second track further stamped 2Min Ime presence in the Nigerian music Industry. After another three years, he rocked the airwaves with “Imam”, which came with his first official music video. With the attention and success the track recorded, the artiste dropped “Senior Man”, a year later. In the 2021, he followed it up with “Banana Juice”, a dance hall track which he released in September of that year.

 

Aduba Ikenna Stanley took innovation to a new level with his 2023 project, “Dispatch Rider”, which cuts across different genres. The master of creativity infused several occurrences to create the perfect songs for his fans. Like he has done throughout his career, the performing act is poised to create unprecedented content and an extensive niche for himself in the music industry.

 

Aduba Ikenna Stanley’s tracks are on all international streaming platforms. On Spotify, he enjoys about 2,000 monthly listeners. “Dispatch Rider” is resonating among his fans on both AudioMack and Boomplay.
